ଲକଡାଉନ- ବଢିଲା ଅସହାୟଙ୍କ ଦୁଃଖ | Lockdown leaves poor stranded and hungry

ସାରା ଦେଶ ଏବେ ୨୧ ଦିନ ଲାଗି ଲକଡାଉନ । ରାସ୍ତାଘାଟ ଜନଶୂନ୍ୟ । ଦୋକାନ ବଜାରରେ ତାଲା ଝୁଲୁଛି । ଏହାପରେ ଅସହାୟ ଓ ରାସ୍ତା କଡରେ ବଂଚୁଥିବା ମଣିଷଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏବେ ଜୀବନ ଯେମିତି ପାଲଟିଯାଇଛି ଦୁର୍ବିସହ । ଲକଡାଉନ ଅବଧି ପୁରିବାକୁ ଆହୁରି ୧୫ ଦିନ ଥିବାରୁ ସେମାନେ କେମିତି ବଞ୍ଚିବେ ତାହାକୁ ନେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଚିନ୍ତା ବଢିଯାଇଛି ।

Some of India’s legions of poor suddenly thrown out of work by a nationwide stay-at-home order are stranded and hungry without food. The unplanned lockdown has heaped further hardship on the quarter of the population who live below the poverty line and the 1.8 million who are homeless. Food has become first concern than the virus. Untold numbers are now out of work and have been left struggling to eat.
