Senior leader Damodar Rout who had joined BJP after being expelled from BJD in the run up to 2019 general elections, has resigned from the saffron party. Rout sent his resignation to Odisha BJP president Basant Panda Wednesday. Speaking to reporters, he accused the BJP of neglecting him and promised to spend the rest of his life defending the interests of Odisha while promoting Biju Patnaik’s ideals.
ଭାଜପାର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଦାମୋଦର ରାଉତ ବୁଧବାର ଦଳରୁ ଇସ୍ତଫା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ସେ ନିଜ ଇସ୍ତଫା ପତ୍ର ଭାଜପା ରାଜ୍ୟ ସଭାପତି ବସନ୍ତ ପଣ୍ଡାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ପଠାଇ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ଇସ୍ତଫା ପତ୍ର ଦେବା ପରେ କ୍ଷୋଭ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ଦାମ କହିଛନ୍ତି , ”ନିଜକୁ ଦଳରେ ଅଲୋଡା ଅନୁଭବ କରୁଛି । ସାଧାରଣ ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ଜନମତ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ପାଇଁ ମୋତେ ଭାଜପାର ବରିଷ୍ଠ ନେତା ଦଳରେ ସାମିଲ କରିଥିଲେ ।’ ଆଗକୁ ବିଜୁଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗତ ଭାବେ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ସ୍ବାର୍ଥ ପାଇଁ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଜୀବନ ବିତାଇବେ ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଛନ୍ତି।
