PUC centres run illegally, fleece vehicle owners | ପଲ୍ୟୁସନ ସାର୍ଟିଫିକେଟ ନାଁରେ ଚାଲିଛି ଟଙ୍କା ଆଦାୟ

With the new Motor Vehicles Act hiking penalties for driving errors, owners have to get their vehicles tested for emissions every six months. Even as a two-wheelers cannot be charged more than Rs 35 and four-wheeler’s cannot be charged over Rs 50, mobile emission testing centres operating without licences are charging exorbitant prices almost three times the prescribed fees.
