Vijayadashami celebrated with pomp and gaiety । ବିଜୟା ଦଶମୀ ଓ ସିନ୍ଦୁର ଖେଳ

Vijayadashami, the last day of Navaratri and Dussehra celebrations, is being celebrated across the state with religious fervor. It is especially so in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack. This day also marks the triumph of good over evil and ‘Ravana podi’ is held at many places to mark the occasion. Large decorated pandals coupled with light and sound shows are among the main attractions at most places this year.

ଅସତ୍ୟ ଉପରେ ସତ୍ୟର , ଅଧର୍ମ ଉପରେ ଧର୍ମର ଓ ପାପ ଉପରେ ପୂଣ୍ୟର ବିଜୟ ପାଇଁ ସବୁଠି ବିଜୟା ଦଶମୀ ପାଳନ କରାଯାଏ । ପୂଜା ମଣ୍ଡପରେ ମା’ଙ୍କ ଦର୍ଶନ ଲାଗି ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁଙ୍କ ଗହଳି ଲାଗିଛି। ଏହାସହିତ ବଙ୍ଗୀୟ ପରମ୍ପରା ଅନୁସାରେ ସଧବା ମହିଳା ମାନେ ସିନ୍ଦୁର ଖେଳି ମା’ଙ୍କୁ ମେଲାଣୀ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।
